DIY Easy Lush Bubblegum Lipscrub

For those who are following me for a long while, know I actually had a DIY Lush dupe on my blog before. However I decided to do it all over again but much easier. Now don't get me wrong I love Lush, but I really hate their prices. I know a lot of people that can't afford it and a lot of people don't have a Lush store around the corner either.
So I came up with a very easy and inexpensive recipe to create identical lipscrub, one that looks like it, smells like it and taste like it.

I had quite a busy time but it also amazing. I went shopping at IKEA and also have a few new lippies, so not really the shoplog I usualy would write a post about. I also got 1 of my 4 my wisdom tooths pulled, not something I would post photo's about either and I also went to the premiere of Thor: the Dark World the other day but even though I would love too, a review about a movie isn't really my type of thing either. I got second in a game and won a MASSIVE prize (I'll write a post about it as soon as I recieve it) and last evening the Kruidvat had a massive sale, every make up, mix 'n match - second for free!

HOW TO: Clean your make up brushes

Even though washing your make-up brushes should be a regular part of your beauty routine, still most girls don't do it often enough. Bristles get filled with old makeup, dirt, oil, germs, and bacteria each time you use them which can lead to clogged pores.

Now to prevent this I have an easy way to show how to clean your brushes properly using rubbing alcohol & baby shampoo. Now, baby shampoo is very gentle and it also prevents from drying out your (expensive) brushes. However the mistake everyone makes is that is does NOT disinfect, therefor we also use rubbing alcohol as well.

Essie: Where's My Chauffeur

I have a new polish I absolutely adore by Essie 242: Where's My Chauffeur? So I made a swatch but also added some gold as well, since just blue nails alone isn't enough. On the swatch I applied 2 coats and a topcoat.

HOW TO: Fix shattered powder

Cotton pads are a great way to prevent your powder or eyeshadow from cracking when you're on the go. However, it doesn't help when you accidentally drop it and sadly this happens to me on a daily base. Still no need to panic or throw away your eyeshadow because there is an easy way to fix this in a few simple steps.

Review: Golden Rose Lipstick #104

Today I'm doing a review about the Golden Rose lipstick. "This is an excellent lipstick that provides good coverage for hours. Contains moisturizers which make the lips smooth and soft. Creates brilliant, shiny lips." Said the website about this lipstick. The products are animal tested free and is dermatologically tested. Well that sounds good.

DIY: bathbombs

After experimenting with making my own soap bars it was time to do and share something new. The good thing about bathbombs is that it's not only fun to make, it's also very easy and inexpensive too make.

DIY: easy lipscrub + labels

Lipscrub has become a very popular beautyproduct while in fact it's nothing more than sugar and 2 or 3 extra (often chemical) ingredients. So why not making it ourslef? Fun do make and great as a gift.

Halloween Nail Art | Zombie nails

Time for some creepy, dirty bloody zombie nail art.

So what did I do?
1. I used a cotton swat to apply a bit of red (Essence Colour & Go 114 Fame Fatal) on my cuticles.
2. After that I used a sponge and applied black (Hema 22) in layers on my tips. Don't let it fully dry.
3. Push, by using a toothpick, bits of the nail polish away.
4. Apply on the open "spaces" a bloody coloured nailpolish. Let it drip and blow it to the side.
5. Drop a few random drops on your nails and let it all dry.

Only apply a shiny topcoat to the red for a wet bloody look.

Halloween Nail Art Tutorial

Finally, I did it. my first Halloween nail art tutorial. Now I wanted to make a video tutorial but after we moved my charger disappeared. No sweat though, I took the photo's instead.
